Research Assistant

Job DescriptionThe Research Assistant (RA) will support the research and innovation activities of the Center for Artificial Intelligence and Digital Innovation (AIDI) by contributing to the development, implementation, and deployment of advanced AI solutions. The RA will work closely with AI experts and interdisciplinary teams to develop cutting‑edge technologies that address real‑world challenges and support the UAE’s digital transformation agenda. The position focuses on hands‑on technical development and experimentation with modern AI technologies. The RA will contribute to research projects that translate advanced AI methodologies into practical applications supporting government modernization, smart services, and industry innovation. The successful candidate will participate in the development of AI‑driven solutions across priority sectors such as healthcare, education, and government services, while supporting collaboration between academia, government entities, and industry partners.Minimum QualificationBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.Strong programming skills, particularly in Python.Hands‑on experience with machine learning and deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or equivalent.Experience developing AI or machine learning models and conducting experiments.Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to implement technical solutions independently.Good understanding of fundamental AI concepts including machine learning, neural networks, and data analysis.Preferred QualificationMaster’s degree in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Computer Science, or a related discipline.Extensive hands‑on experience developing AI applications using Large Language Models (LLMs), Generative AI technologies, Deep learning architectures, Reinforcement learning algorithms.Experience with modern AI development tools such as Hugging Face, LangChain, vector databases, or AI agents.Experience with AI deployment, MLOps, and cloud‑based AI platforms.Experience working with real‑world datasets and building end‑to‑end AI pipelines.Experience contributing to research publications, open‑source projects, or technical reports.Experience in research documentation and research paper writing.Closing Date30/04/2026#J-18808-Ljbffr
