Require a Finance Manager in Abu Dhabi

Project accounting, WIP, revenue recognition, progress billing, retention, VAT, cash flow, and reporting.Lead the calculation and monitoring of Work-in-Progress (WIP) for all active construction projects to ensure accurate financial representation.Implement and enforce revenue recognition policies in compliance with applicable accounting standards (e.g., IFRS 15 or ASC 606).Oversee the preparation and issuance of progress billing statements to clients, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.Manage retention tracking, including calculations, documentation, and release timelines in coordination with project teams.Ensure full compliance with VAT regulations and oversee timely filing of tax returns and related submissions.Develop and maintain robust cash flow forecasts to support project planning, budgeting, and executive decision-making.Prepare comprehensive financial reports for senior management, project teams, and stakeholders, highlighting performance, risks, and opportunities.Collaborate closely with project managers, procurement, and internal audit to resolve financial discrepancies and strengthen internal controls.Support financial audits and regulatory reviews with complete, accurate documentation and analysis.RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Proven experience in construction or engineering project finance, with a strong track record in project accounting.In-depth knowledge of WIP valuation, revenue recognition principles, and progress billing processes.Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting, analysis, and cash flow forecasting.Solid understanding of VAT regulations and compliance within the construction sector.Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).Highly detail-oriented with strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.#J-18808-Ljbffr
