Require a Chief Accountant in Abu Dhabi

<div><p>Project accounting, WIP, revenue recognition, progress billing, retention, VAT, cash flow, and reporting.</p><ul><li>Manage and reconcile work-in-progress (WIP) reports across all active projects.</li><li>Ensure accurate revenue recognition in alignment with ASC 606 and other applicable accounting standards.</li><li>Prepare and issue progress billing statements to clients in a timely manner.</li><li>Track and administer project retainers, including release timelines and recovery procedures.</li><li>Maintain compliance with VAT regulations and ensure accurate tax reporting.</li><li>Monitor project cash flow and deliver forecasts to support financial planning and budgeting.</li><li>Produce comprehensive financial reports for management, stakeholders, and internal audit.</li><li>Partner with project managers and cross-functional teams to provide actionable financial analysis.</li></ul><h3>Requirements</h3><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.</li><li>Minimum of 3 years of experience in project accounting or a similar financial role.</li><li>In-depth knowledge of revenue recognition principles, particularly ASC 606.</li><li>Demonstrated expertise in WIP calculations and financial reporting.</li><li>Hands-on experience with progress billing and retention management.</li><li>Solid understanding of VAT regulations and compliance requirements.</li><li>Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics).</li><li>Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines with high accuracy.</li></ul></div>#J-18808-Ljbffr
