Require a Chief Accountant in Abu Dhabi

Project accounting, WIP, revenue recognition, progress billing, retention, VAT, cash flow, and reporting.Manage and reconcile work-in-progress (WIP) reports across all active projects.Ensure accurate revenue recognition in alignment with ASC 606 and other applicable accounting standards.Prepare and issue progress billing statements to clients in a timely manner.Track and administer project retainers, including release timelines and recovery procedures.Maintain compliance with VAT regulations and ensure accurate tax reporting.Monitor project cash flow and deliver forecasts to support financial planning and budgeting.Produce comprehensive financial reports for management, stakeholders, and internal audit.Partner with project managers and cross-functional teams to provide actionable financial analysis.RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Minimum of 3 years of experience in project accounting or a similar financial role.In-depth knowledge of revenue recognition principles, particularly ASC 606.Demonstrated expertise in WIP calculations and financial reporting.Hands-on experience with progress billing and retention management.Solid understanding of VAT regulations and compliance requirements.Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics).Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines with high accuracy.#J-18808-Ljbffr
