Learn more about the Caterpillar Experience.About Customer Solutions Growth Regions DivisionThis team alongside dealers engages closely with customers to create customize and adapt solutions to meet their needs by leveraging the extensive range of offerings available today across products and services digital and technology rental and used and financing. The division is regionally focused on Africa the Middle East Eurasia Asia (excluding Japan) and Latin America (LATAM) and organized into three functional areas: Customer Facing Customer Solutions and Business Enablers. This role is part of the Customer Solutions team focused on designing and delivering solutions in the areas of product services and technology. The role will:Support Field Teams Dealers & Customer with deep Product and Services expertise.Focus Product Services & Technology development on solving customer problems at the segment and site level.Drive proactive Technology Adoption and Product & Services health management leveraging data insights from connected field population.Role Definition: Manages a marketing function for specific market segment or product group.What You Will Do:Overseeing research of multiple requests from business development leaders across the country.Developing recommending and implementing market research plans for key products and services; collaborating on brand positioning databases and direct response.Developing strategic plans for expansion of existing brands and development of new products or services; coordinating the implementation of plans.Presenting overall marketing plans and strategic direction for region to senior management for funding approval and support.What You Have (Basic Skills Required): Customer Focus: Knowledge of the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions and ability to leverage that information in creating customized customer solutions.Level Extensive Experience: Facilitates creation of the right products and services to resolve customer business issues.Fosters strong customer relationships via delivery on commitments open communication and on-going feedback/improvement.Advises others on creating customer focused environments in various scenarios.Anticipates customer needs focusing efforts to proactively meet needs and exceed customer expectations.Measures and observes customer satisfaction levels to ascertain and implement service improvement alternatives.Communicates and models the criticality of customer focus as an organizational strategy.Global Perspective: Knowledge of issues opportunities and challenges for conducting business in the international marketplace; ability to apply global perspectives appropriately in a wide range of situations.Level Working Knowledge: Conducts business with one or two other countries.Follows policies and procedures governing business activities with another country.Obtains information regarding operational issues of other countries when making business decisions.Assesses key legal regulatory and financial issues specific to a particular country.Recognizes behaviors that promote or stunt effective relationships in that country; acts accordingly.Creativity: Knowledge of the approaches tools and techniques for promoting creative original thinking and ability to apply it to a variety of business situations.Level Extensive Experience: Maintains balance between innovation and pragmatism.Challenges accepted ways of operating.Monitors innovations in field and explores usefulness in own function.Encourages solicits and rewards imaginative ideas.Supports experimentation and accepts occasional setbacks or failures.Finds new ways to approach problems.Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts tools and techniques; ability to effectively tra
