Remote Operations Technician

Were the global leader in providing energy solutions that help businesses grow and communities work as a team and were proud of the difference we make to customers to local communities and towards a sustainable future for the world.We are hiring Remote Operations Technician for real-time management of on-site operations ensuring smooth system functionality regulatory compliance and effective incident response.This role will enhance efficiency and reliability in operations enabling the remote operation of project sites from the Aggreko Remote Control Center in Jebel Ali Dubai UAE.Why Join AggrekoFull time position based in Dubai United Arab Emirates.Shift based roleCompetitive compensation packageIndustry-leading benefit plans including medical and travel allowancesContinuous training and development with career growth opportunitiesSafety-focused cultureWhat youll do: Shift working to provide 24/7 remote operations support to the AMEAPAC regionFollow standard operating procedures including dispatching service requests incidents alarms and TSD.Follow communication protocols to ensure no unstructured communication both internally and externally.Ontime Reporting as per agreed stakeholders requirements & frequencyMonitor and oversee remote control systems to ensure proper functioning and performance.Respond to alarms alerts and notifications from remote systems and take appropriate action as needed.Communicate with field technicians or on-site personnel to coordinate responses to incidents or issues.Document and log activities incidents and actions taken in the RCC.Conduct routine checks and inspections of remote systems to ensure compliance safety and reliability.Provide support to issue remote PTW for sites.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issuesProvide a summary of production reports for the sites connected to RCCYoull have the following skills and experience:Engineering Graduate / Higher National Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical or Control EngineeringMinimum 3 years experience of site environmentMust be able to work under own initiative with good organization skillsIn Depth knowledge of power plant operations and maintenanceData analysis create insight from data for data driven decision making skills.Fluent in English excellent oral and written communicationScada & PLC applications including operations and fault finding is an advantagePower generation industry & high voltage network experience is an advantageFind out more and apply now.Bring your energy.
