Remote Contract Accountant for High-Volume Transactions

Temporary 2-3 months contractAbout the CompanyThe Accountant will support the daily finance operations across multiple entities, ensuring accurate financial reporting, strong cash management, and timely reconciliation of high-volume transactions. This role is critical in maintaining financial integrity within a regulated, data-driven environment.About the RoleThis role involves supporting the daily finance operations and ensuring compliance with regulatory and reporting requirements.ResponsibilitiesTreasury & Cash ManagementMonitor daily cash balances across multiple accountsManage liquidity and fund allocationProcess payments and inter-account fund movementsExpense & Vendor ManagementRecord and track company expenses accuratelyManage vendor payments and relationshipsOversee card-based payments, including ~200 recurring subscriptionsPayment ProcessingExecute manual payment uploadsEnsure accuracy and completeness of all payment transactionsDaily ReconciliationReview bank statements on a daily basisReconcile transactions across accountsEnsure compliance with regulatory and reporting requirementsPlatform & Financial Data ReviewReview financial data generated from internal platformsExtract and analyze transaction dataValidate revenue calculations and financial metricsManage and process large volumes of financial dataAccounting System ManagementMaintain accurate records in QuickBooksEnsure correct booking of expenses and revenuesSupport month-end and reporting processes as requiredQualificationsHigh attention to detail and accuracyRequired SkillsStrong reconciliation and data-handling capabilitiesExperience managing high-volume transactionsFamiliarity with accounting systems (QuickBooks preferred)Ability to work independently in a remote setupStrong organizational and time management skillsPreferred SkillsImmediate requirement for a full-time accountant (contract / secondment basis)Pay range and compensation packageOpportunity for extension beyond initial contract based on performance.
