We help a diverse range of customers across the value chain to reduce operating costs and improve productivity.Partner with the bestAs a Reliability Engineer you will be responsible for identifying leading and executing activities that are aimed at reducing the costs of failure caused by non-productive time repair costs personnel and premature product failures.As a Reliability Engineer youll be responsible for:Ensuring compliance with Manage the Job Cycle (MtJC) processLeading / participating in Incident Investigation ensuring the end to end process is considered (including job planning preparation and execution) when determining incident root cause(s) alongside appropriate corrective actionsFocusing on preventing failures during the lifecycle management of a product or service through active monitoring and corrective action planningSupporting job planning and preparation by participating in Risk Assessment / deviation waiver / Management of Change (RA / DWR/ MOC) and deployment readiness assessment processes (DRA)Participating in the engineering design review processExecuting the key steps outlined within the Field Incident Management Process (FIMP).Managing the FRACAS DMAIC stagesApplying root cause analysis (RCA) processesDeveloping and reviewing cause mapsFacilitating or leading incident investigationsFacilitating or lead incident review and corrective action boardsIdentifying FRACAS trends to identify and prioritize failure modes to investigate for corrective actionsAnalyzing performance data and monitor performanceIdentifying and report performance trendsDeveloping and reporting key performance indicators as neededSharing lessons learned with the field populationCollaborating across reliability engineering community to facilitate knowledge transferActing as a subject matter expert for respective area to service delivery and supply chain functionsSupport new product development in all aspects relevant to reliability engineering through direct liaison with engineering and the deploying regionHandling special projects as required and Other product line-specific responsibilitiesFuel your passionTo be successful in this role you will:Bachelors degree in science technology engineering or mathematicsHave a minimum of 6 years in Drilling service - AMO or field experienceHave Excellent leadership strong interpersonal influencing and planning skills.Able to work in a global matrix organizationAble to understand the Service Delivery process and the technical nature of the businessHave excellent analytical skills.Able to work and communicate well with others.Able to effectively communicate in English.Work in a way that works for youWe recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone this role we can offer the following flexible working patterns:Working flexible hours - flexing the times when you work in the day to help you fit everything in and work when you are the most productiveWorking with usOur people are at the heart of what we do at Baker Hughes.
