If you are passionate about creating cutting-edge software and thrive in fast-paced environments, we would love to meet you!</p><p>We are looking for<b>DevOps&Release Engineer</b></p><p><b>Experience:</b>6+ Years</p><p><b>Job Location:</b>Riyadh, KSA</p><h3>Job Overview</h3><p>We’re seeking a DevOps Engineer with expertise in MongoDB, PostgreSQL, ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), and Prometheus/Grafana monitoring. You’ll design, deploy, and maintain infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and observability systems to ensure optimal performance and uptime.</p><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Manage and maintain GitLab repositories, users, permissions, and branching models.</li><li><b>Design, build, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for multiple projects.</b></li><li><b>Deploy, operate, and troubleshoot services running on Native Kubernetes clusters.</b></li><li>Manage artifacts and packages using Nexus Repository Manager (or equivalent repo management systems).</li><li>Execute and improve release management processes including versioning, branching strategy, release notes, deployment plans, and rollback procedures.</li><li><b>Support deployment models such as Blue/Green, Canary, and Rolling deployments.</b></li><li>Implement and maintain monitoring and logging using ELK Stack and Grafana.</li><li>Follow and enforce best practices in DevOps, automation, IaC, and environment governance.</li><li>Collaborate with Development, QA, and Operations teams to ensure consistent delivery processes.</li><li>Apply basic security practices to pipelines, clusters, and repository systems.</li><li>Assist in incident resolution, root‑cause analysis, and environment health reviews.</li><li>Maintain documentation for pipelines, deployments, processes, and operational runbooks.</li></ul><h3>Required Technical Skills</h3><h3>DevOps&CI/CD</h3><ul><li>Strong experience with GitLab (Projects, Groups, Access Control, Branching Strategy).</li><li>Ability to build, maintain, and optimize GitLab CI/CD pipelines.</li><li>Understanding of merge strategies, pipeline workflows, tagging, versioning, and branching models (GitFlow, Trunk‑based, Release branching).</li><li>Hands‑on experience with Native Kubernetes clusters (not managed services).</li><li>Working knowledge of Pods, Deployments, Services, Ingress, ConfigMaps, Secrets.</li><li>Experience troubleshooting workloads, logs, and cluster‑level issues.</li></ul><h3>Repository Management</h3><ul><li>Experience with Nexus Repository Manager or equivalent.</li><li>Managing artifacts, containers, binaries, versioning, and retention policies.</li><li>Grafana</li></ul><h3>Release&Deployment</h3><p>Strong understanding of:</p><ul><li>Release cycles&workflows</li><li>Canary deployment</li><li>Rollback strategies</li><li>Deployment plans and release readiness checks</li></ul><h3>Security&Compliance</h3><p>Basic understanding of:</p><ul><li>Access control</li><li>Container image security basics</li></ul><h3>Development Skills (Basic)</h3><ul><li>Ability to read and understand application code</li><li>Basic scripting (Bash, Python, or PowerShell).</li><li>Understanding of API integrations and automation.</li></ul><h3>Soft Skills</h3><ul><li>Strong communication and collaboration with cross‑functional teams.</li><li>Ability to troubleshoot issues quickly and systematically.</li><li>Documentation‑oriented mindset.</li><li>Ownership, responsibility, and proactive problem solving.</li><li>Ability to work under pressure during release windows</li></ul><h3>What We Offer</h3><p>An exciting and diverse team of professionals.</p><p>A creative and collaborative work environment.</p><p>Opportunities for personal and professional growth.</p><p>Competitive compensation and benefits.</p><p>If interested and ready to relocate Riyadh, KSA if selected, please share your updated Resume and details to vimal.misra@synechron.com</p></div>#J-18808-Ljbffr
