Registered Nurse - PICU

The PICU Nurse will provide advanced, evidence‑based nursing care to critically ill neonates, infants, and children in a high‑acuity intensive care environment. The role requires strong clinical expertise, sound judgement, and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.ResponsibilitiesDeliver comprehensive nursing care to critically ill paediatric patients in the PICUMonitor, assess, and respond to changes in patient condition using advanced clinical skillsManage ventilated and haemodynamically unstable patientsAdminister medications, infusions, and treatments in accordance with hospital policiesAssist with emergency interventions, resuscitation, and stabilisation of patientsCollaborate closely with paediatric intensivists, physicians, and multidisciplinary teamsSupport and educate patients’ families with empathy and clear communicationMaintain accurate and timely clinical documentationEnsure compliance with infection control, patient safety, and safeguarding standardsParticipate in audits, quality improvement initiatives, and continuous professional developmentQualificationsValid DHA Nursing License or DHA eligibilityMinimum 2 years of recent PICU experience in a tertiary or high‑acuity hospital settingCurrent BLS and PALS certificationProven experience in paediatric critical care technologies, including ventilators and infusion pumpsStrong knowledge of paediatric critical care protocols and best practicesExcellent communication, teamwork, and documentation skillsExperience in international or JCI‑accredited hospitalsExposure to ECMO, CRRT, or advanced PICU therapiesAbility to join immediately or within a short notice period#J-18808-Ljbffr
