Job Description

The job holder will be responsible for planning and driving retail operations through the implementation and maintenance of professional retail standards for Home Centre stores in Dammam; thereby maximizing sales, maximizing profitability, optimum Inventory Utilizations, increase in customer satisfaction & commercial development. Responsibilities KEY RESPONSIBILITIESSales and Commercial PerformancePrepare and participate in the preparation of sales budgetsMaximize sales and profitability of the conceptMaximize productivity targets ( sales per sqft, ATV, Conversion etc)Formulate and implement retail strategies & procedures in discussion with the NCBH/Regional HeadControl costs within budgetary guidelinesIdentify internal and external commercial opportunitiesEnsure effective Stock and Space ManagementConduct SWOT review to analyze the customer profileProvide monthly feedback on competitor and event activitiesSuggest improvements based on benchmark practicesOperational Standards and ManagementPrepare Regional operating plan (new store, seasonal and store) and ensure effective implementationEnsure all the stores are in compliance with the store operating and customer service standardsEnsure all the stores are in compliance with the company policy on employment and state laws, health and safetystandardsEnsure all the stores portrays the company image in all aspects of personal presentation and adheres to the company dress code as laid out by the CompanyEnsure all store sales, promotions are planned effectively, executed and promptly and maintained professionallyInventory Management & Stock DistributionEnsure effective Inventory and Warehouse management for the concept in the territory ( order management, stockconsolidation, movement and transfer, optimum stock utilization, stock return and shrinkage)Review and analyze stock and sales reports monitoring over and under stocks , implementing corrective action to be takenReview and effectively deal with fast / slow lines, new ranges and end of ranges and implement necessary actionEnsure pricing of merchandise as per norms and matrix formatProvision of monthly feedback to Concept on sales, stock positions and product feedbackBusiness Management & DevelopmentStrategize and seek opportunity for concept expansion in the territory- PropertiesManage roll-out of new projects and time bound implementation of projectsResearch and look for good property and locationsUnderstand Territory dynamics (demographics, consumer behavior, market understanding etc.)Manage and support in team recruitment and ensure Saudization & Feminization.Ensure that all new recruits understand their job and inducted well within the companyAssist ROM & ARM in grievance handling and disciplinary actionsEnsure skill development of showroom staffs through Learning & DevelopmentMonitor and appraise the performance of retail staffs in coordination with ARM and developing individual career plans.Set KRA's for direct reports and conduct performance appraisalOversee staff deployment and drive motivation levels of the direct reportees. Qualifications MUST HAVEA Candidate with retail experience in KSA would be preferableMinimum of 12 years' experience in RetailShould have Home & Furniture experience for 3-5 yearsShould have handled large format retail/Hyper mart.SOFT SKILLSStrong Business AcumenStrong Negotiation SkillsRelationship ManagementLeadership SkillsLeading Home Retailers in India and in Saudi Arabia
