Job Description

The Recruitment Officer plays a critical role in the Human Resource function. The Recruiting Officer strategizes with managers to anticipate and meet the evolving needs of the business of attracting the best available talent in the market. This position also builds relationships with prospective talent and hiring managers. The Recruiting Officer is a key contributor to the success of the growth of each business unit.Key AccountabilitiesTalent Sourcing and AcquisitionActively source and attract potential candidates through various channels, such as job boards, applicant tracking system, social media, professional networks, referrals, etc.Build a pipeline of qualified candidates to meet current and future hiring needs.Candidate Screening and AssessmentConduct initial phone/teams screening interviews to evaluate candidates qualifications, skills, experience and cultural fit.When necessary, administer tests or assessments for specific roles.Interview CoordinationSchedule and/or coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers or interview panels.Ensure a smooth and positive interview experience for both candidates and interviewers.Collect feedback from interviewers and communication it to the relevant parties.Candidate Relationship ManagementEstablish and maintain relationships with candidates, keeping them engaged and informed throughout the hiring process.Provide timely updates on application status and feedback from interviews.Compliance and DocumentationEnsure all recruiting activities comply with legal and organizational policies.Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the applicant tracking system (ATS).Market Research & AnalysisStay informed about industry trends, salary ranges, and best practices in recruitment.Provide insights and recommendations to hiring managers, based on market research.Collaboration with Hiring ManagersPartner with hiring managers to understand job requirements, candidates profiles, and department staffing needs.Provide guidance on candidate selection and participate in decision-making process.Employer Branding & MarketingPromote the company’s brand and culture to prospective candidates.Represent the company at career fairs, networking events, and other industry-related functions.Onboarding SupportAssist in the visa and onboarding process by coordinating paperwork and ensuring a smooth transition for new hires.Qualifications, Knowledge and SkillsBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).5+ years proven experience as a recruiter, or in a similar role.Familiarity with ATS and recruiting software.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.Ability to prioritize tasks, organize large volume of work, perform independently; Proven organizational skills, with the ability to undertake multiple tasks under tight deadlines.Strong communication skills (written and spoken) required. Fluent English language skills are required.Proven experience demonstrating the ability to act independently on assigned tasks and to exercise good judgement and flexibility with shifting priorities while serving the needs of employees and organization.Excellent data management skills including creating candidate databases to manage pipelines and for reporting purposesENGIE group is a global reference in low-carbon energy and services.
