Job Description
Our global Law Firm Client is looking for a permanent part-time Arabic/English speaking Receptionist to join their team in Doha.Working hours will be 8am-1pm. The role will be the first point of contact, either in person or by telephone, to provide a positive and professional image of the firm.ResponsibilitiesAnswer incoming calls in a polite, efficient, and helpful manner, take information and relay it promptly and accurately.Greet clients in a courteous and welcoming manner, retrieve the visitor pass, offer refreshments, and inform partners of client arrival.Liaise with the IT Manager on any IT or telephone problems and inform them in advance of any power shutdown.Receive and send documents by courier, tracking on the internet.Ensure the reception and waiting area are tidy and newspapers are provided at all times.Ensure conference rooms are serviced.Maintain an effective booking service for conference rooms, allocating the appropriate size of room.Check emails and forward them appropriately.Sort mail, date stamp, enter on Excel, and ensure documents are delivered to the correct case handlers.Take bookings for video conference calls and ensure IT is activated at the correct time.Order lunch for staff meetings and ensure refreshments are provided.Arrange hotel/travel on request from office admin.Assist in general office admin tasks when required, such as petty cash; maintenance of personal details (exit visa/ID/passport expiry); picking up any groceries for the office; entering business cards on Inter Action; and any other admin tasks that can be completed without affecting reception duties.QualificationsEducated to at least high school level; degree desirable.Previous receptionist experience preferably in a legal or professional services environment.Fluent in English and Arabic.Polite and helpful telephone manner and able to pass messages accurately both verbally and in writing.Pleasant, welcoming personality and able to interact with staff at all levels.Ability to multitask and take a proactive approach to work.Ability to work discreetly and deal with confidential information.SalarySalary: AED5,500 - 6,500About The CompanyMiller Hay is a privately owned boutique recruitment consultancy specialising in providing clients with secretarial and professional office support staff.
