Quantity Surveyor

<div><ul><li>Execute day-to-day quantity calculations based on the qualitative input provided by project surveyors.</li><li>Prepare weekly and monthly quantities and measurements, and consolidate the data into reports for the Senior Quantity Surveyor.</li><li>Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities.</li><li>Assist in rate analysis and tender pricing.</li><li>Undertake cost analysis for repair, maintenance, and commercial projects.</li><li>Perform quantity take-offs based on contract drawings and specifications.</li><li>Identify opportunities for cost reduction.</li><li>Identify, analyse, and develop responses to commercial risks.</li><li>Assist in establishing client requirements and undertaking feasibility studies.</li><li>Perform risk management, value engineering, and cost control activities.</li><li>Prepare and analyse costings for tenders.</li><li>Allocate work to subcontractors.</li><li>Coordinate and negotiate contract variations.</li><li>Provide advice on contractual claims.</li><li>Analyse outcomes and prepare detailed progress reports.</li><li>Value completed work and arrange payments.</li><li>Maintain awareness of current building contracts and industry standards.</li><li>Understand and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.</li><li>Develop weekly and monthly progress reports, resource histograms, and S-curves.</li><li>Inform the Senior Quantity Surveyor of requirements for quantity calculation instruments and equipment.</li><li>Analyse actual production output versus planned output and report on project performance.</li><li>Cooperate efficiently and constructively with chief surveyors, quantity surveyors, and the commercial department.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Law, Engineering, Business Management, or a related discipline, or equivalent.</li><li>Minimum of 5 years of Quantity Surveying experience in related industries.</li></ul></div>#J-18808-Ljbffr
