Job Description

OverviewWe\'re looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Quantity Surveyor to join our infrastructure maintenance team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In this role, you will be responsible for managing costs, preparing accurate measurements, and ensuring efficient budget control throughout the lifecycle of infrastructure maintenance projects. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.ResponsibilitiesPrepare and analyze bills of quantities (BoQ) for infrastructure maintenance projects with precision and accuracyConduct detailed cost estimation, forecasting, and budget analysis to support project planning and financial controlMonitor project expenditures and provide regular cost reports to project management and stakeholdersManage contract administration, including variations, claims, and change orders in accordance with contract termsPerform quantity measurements and valuations based on project specifications and industry standardsMaintain comprehensive project documentation, records, and cost databases for audit and reference purposesAnalyze supplier quotations and negotiate pricing to optimize procurement costsIdentify and assess financial risks associated with projects and recommend mitigation strategiesCollaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure accurate cost tracking and reportingEnsure compliance with UAE construction regulations, standards, and organizational policiesPrepare progress reports and financial statements for management review and decision-makingQualificationsMinimum 3-5 years of professional experience as a Quantity Surveyor or in a similar cost management roleProven experience in infrastructure maintenance projects or related construction environmentsStrong expertise in cost estimation, budget management, and financial forecastingProficiency with quantity surveying software and tools (e.g., Bluebeam, Touchplan, or equivalent)Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and ProjectSolid understanding of construction contracts, procurement practices, and contract administrationKnowledge of UAE construction regulations, standards, and local building codesFamiliarity with CAD software and ERP systems (preferred)Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detailExceptional organizational and time management abilitiesStrong written and verbal communication skills in EnglishAbility to work independently and collaboratively within a team environmentProfessional certification in quantity surveying or cost management (preferred)#J-18808-Ljbffr
