Quantity Surveyor

Location: Abu Dhabi, Abu Dhabi, United Arab EmiratesJob Title: Quantity SurveyorHitachi Rail is looking for an enthusiastic, self‑motivated Quantity Surveyor. The successful candidate will have solid experience in the rail industry, managing wayside installation design and routing cables along the track and within technical rooms. This position is based in Abu Dhabi, UAE.AccountabilitiesEnsure the monthly statement issuing, with the Project Manager, according to the project planning.Act jointly with the Project Manager in order to achieve the approval of the PPC by the client.Ensure the compliance of the Progress Payment certificate (PPC) with the contractual scheme.Act jointly with Administrative dept in order to process the invoices.Ensure the compliance of the Invoice with the contractual.Act with the CM during the preparation of claims and variations, giving in return the economical evaluation of the related activities (priced BOM).Ensure the archiving of the above mentioned documents.Variation Management: Evaluating and negotiating changes (variations) to the original project scope.Budgeting review and management according to the management guidelines.Desired Skills / KnowledgeAbility to stay organized and maintain project records.Teamwork.Cooperative approach.Mobility mindset.Education / QualificationsEngineering University Degree or Equivalent (Civil / Electrical).Thank you for your interest in Hitachi Rail.
