Job Description
Responsible for providing complete quantity take-off and comparing it with tender quantitiesPreparation of a List of Technical Queries for Consultant clarification.Coordination with other staff to ensure that tender deadlines, procedures, and project requirements are met.Comprehension of local authority requirements and international standards.Coordinating with other departments to provide necessary support.Qualifications, Experience and RequirementsBachelor’s degree in quantity surveying or a related field.Computer skills – MS Office, PlanSwift and Auto CADMinimum experience – 3 – 7 years as a Quantity Surveyor in the Fitout industryAbility to work to tight deadlines and under pressureKnowledge of measurement methods (POMI).ResponsibilitiesResponsible for efficiently and accurately carrying out under mentioned job tasks assigned by relevant task Managers/GMResponsible for executing assigned tasks in accordance with the company procedures, Quality Management standards, regulations and instructions.Responsible for performing the assigned tasks to safe guard the best interest of the Company.Taking off quantities from the Tender Drawings for tenders.Preparation of project specific bill of quantities.Follow up with quotations from the suppliers.Preparation of interim and final claim.Preparation of valuing variations.Checking subcontractors variations, additional works etc.Checking subcontractors invoices.About UsFounded in 1971, the Al Shirawi Group has been serving people & industry for the last five decades.
