Job Description Role Overview: As a part of the team, your role will involve building and deploying market standard product analytics for various financial instruments such as corporate bonds, loans, bond portfolios/ETFs, and Municipal Bonds. You will also be responsible for developing data analytics to support voice traders and other automated strategies. Additionally, you will work on feature engineering for ML-based models, deploying models to production, building research frameworks for market-making, and quoting strategies. Key Responsibilities: - Build and deploy market standard product analytics for corporate bonds, loans, bond portfolios/ETFs, and Municipal Bonds - Develop data analytics to assist voice traders and other automated strategies - Perform feature engineering for ML-based models and deploy models to production - Construct research, back-testing, and reporting frameworks for market-making and quoting strategies - Execute trade profitability assessment strategies Qualification Required: - Very strong Object Oriented Programming (OOP) and software design skills, preferably using C. Extensive Python experience would be a plus - Excellent communication skills for interactions with trading, technology, and control functions - Practical data analysis skills on real datasets, including working with large data and tools like Pandas, Numpy, Tableau, Qlikview, SQL, etc - Strong interest and some experience in data engineering and big-data related database technologies such as Spark, Kdb, Onetick, Hadoop, AWS, etc - Attention to detail and focus on the quality of deliverables - Ability to work in a high-pressure environment - Pro-active attitude with a natural interest in learning about the business, models, and infrastructure Note: The job description did not include any additional details about the company.
