Quality Control Officer

OverviewWe are seeking a detailoriented and proactive Quality Control Officer to oversee onsite inspections snagging and training activities ensuring that all projects meet the highest standards of quality. The ideal candidate will have handson experience in construction quality control and the ability to manage teams and coordinate inspections effectively.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct thorough inspections of ongoing construction projects to ensure quality standards are met.Perform snagging and final inspections identifying and addressing defects or nonconformities.Develop and implement quality control procedures ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.Coordinate and lead training programs for onsite teams to ensure proper quality control practices.Monitor the implementation of quality control processes throughout the project lifecycle.Ensure all construction materials and workmanship meets specified quality requirements.Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to address quality concerns and provide solutions.Keep accurate records of inspections, defects, and corrective actions.Report any quality issues to senior management and recommend improvements.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices in quality control.RequirementsBachelor s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field (preferred).Minimum 5 years of experience in quality control or quality assurance in the construction industry.In-depth knowledge of construction quality standards, codes, and regulations.Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.Ability to conduct thorough inspections and implement corrective actions.Strong leadership and team management skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in quality control tools and software.BenefitsRemuneration: Competitive salary with performance-based bonuses, health benefits and other perks.If you are a dedicated quality control professional with a passion for maintaining high standards on construction projects we encourage you to apply and be part of our team!#J-18808-Ljbffr
