The role is responsible for monitoring site activities, conducting inspections, and ensuring that all finishing works meet project specifications, approved drawings, and industry standards.</p><p>The Quality Control Manager will manage the implementation of the Quality Management System (QMS), handle non‑conformities, and drive corrective and preventive actions. The role also involves close coordination with project teams, subcontractors, and consultants to ensure high‑quality execution and timely project delivery.</p><p>The ideal candidate will have strong experience in fit‑out and finishing works, with solid knowledge of QA/QC procedures, attention to detail, and the ability to lead and manage quality processes effectively.</p><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li><b>Oversee and review the submittal and handover of construction specially the fit out works</b></li><li>Develop, implement, and maintain the<b>Project Quality Control Plan (QCP)</b>and ensure adherence throughout all project phases.</li><li>Supervise the<b>QC team</b>and ensure proper distribution of responsibilities.</li><li>Review and approve<b>Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs)</b>,<b>Method Statements</b>, and<b>Material Submittals</b>in accordance with project requirements.</li><li>Conduct and coordinate<b>site inspections</b>to ensure that all construction works meet approved standards, codes, and specifications.</li><li>Prepare and issue<b>Non‑Conformance Reports (NCRs)</b>and<b>Corrective Action Requests (CARs)</b>when deviations occur and follow up on their closure.</li><li>Oversee<b>materials testing</b>, including concrete, asphalt, soil, steel, and other construction materials.</li><li>Ensure proper documentation of quality inspections, test results, calibration certificates, and reports.</li><li>Conduct regular<b>internal audits</b>and participate in<b>client quality audits</b>.</li><li>Lead<b>root cause analysis</b>for recurring quality issues and develop preventive measures.</li><li>Provide<b>training and guidance</b>to site engineers and supervisors on quality standards and procedures.</li><li>Prepare periodic<b>quality performance reports</b>and recommend improvement actions to management.</li><li>Perform and lead regular quality assessments on all incoming materials from vendors.</li><li>Reject all products and materials that fail to meet quality expectations.</li><li>Read plans and specifications to understand the requirements of products and services.</li><li>Measure product dimensions, examine functionality, and compare the final product to the specifications.</li><li>Recommend improvements to the production process to ensure quality control.</li><li>Document inspection outcomes by completing detailed reports and performance records.</li><li>Resolve quality‑related issues in a timely manner.</li></ul><h3>Requirements</h3><ul><li>Bachelor's in Architecture or Structural engineering.</li><li>Certification in quality control is preferred.</li><li>A minimum of 12 years’ experience in<b>Quality Control</b>within the construction industry (building or mixed‑use projects).</li><li>Good math and technical skills.</li><li>Strong understanding of quality control standards and testing techniques.</li><li>A knowledge of the industry.</li><li>Ability to project management.</li><li>Analytical skills.</li><li>Excellent interpersonal skills.</li></ul><h3>Skills</h3><ul><li>Experience coding and using QA software tools and processes.</li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.</li></ul></div>#J-18808-Ljbffr
