QUALITY CONTROL EXECUTIVE

Furchild is seeking a dedicated Quality Control Executive to manage and maintain quality control documentation. The ideal candidate will ensure that all quality control records, reports, and procedures are accurately documented, securely stored, and fully compliant with industry standards and Furchild’s internal policies.Job DescriptionMaintain accurate records for all quality control activities, including product inspections, audits, test results, and corrective actions.Prepare and compile regular quality control reports for management, summarizing test results, inspections, and compliance audits.Assist in the preparation for internal and external audits by ensuring that all quality-related documentation is readily accessible and in order.Ensure that all quality control documentation complies with applicable standards, regulatory bodies, and internal procedures.Provide training to the quality control and production teams on proper documentation practices and internal record-keeping standards.Suggest improvements to documentation processes that could enhance accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.Ensure that all product batches, raw materials, and finished goods are traceable via proper documentation for quality control purposes.Coordinate with external training bodies to ensure timely completion of required food safety training.Ensure that all employees have up-to-date health and safety cards as per regulatory requirements.Assist in Food Safety Team Leader in maintaining compliance with all food safety and regulatory requirements.Perform daily updates on Food Watch Act as a Deputy for the Online Quality Controller and Quality Control Officer during their absence.Assist in preparing and updating process SOPs, product specifications, and related documents.Assist in preparing and updating Raw material or ingredient specification.Assist in root cause analysis, implementation of corrective actions, and proper documentation of customer complaints.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Engineering or related fieldAt least 3 years’ experience in quality control, documentation management, or related roles, ideally in a production or food industry.Proven experience with quality control software and documentation systems.ISO22000:2018 Awareness Training certification, requiredCertification in Quality Control, Food Safety Management, or a related fieldStrong attention to detail with excellent organizational and time-management skills.Previous experience in a pet nutrition or food production environment, preferable.Additional InformationWhy Join Us?
