Quality Checker

<div><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Conduct in-line and final inspections of garments based on AQL standards.</li><li>Check measurements, stitching, trims, labels, and overall finishing of garments.</li><li>Identify and classify defects such as open seams, puckering, loose threads, stains, and size issues.</li><li>Compare finished garments against buyer-approved samples and tech packs.</li><li>Maintain detailed inspection reports and defect logs.</li><li>Coordinate with the production and QA teams to address quality issues promptly.</li><li>Assist in root cause analysis and follow up on rework and corrective actions.</li><li>Ensure all quality checks are done as per company SOPs and SAIF Zone compliance standards.</li><li>Ensure garments are properly ironed, folded, tagged, and packed as per buyer requirements.</li><li>Report any non-compliance or unsafe practices to the QA Supervisor or Line Manager.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Diploma or equivalent qualification.</li><li>Ability to read and write.</li></ul><h3>Essential Skills</h3><ul><li>Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a Quality Checker in a garment manufacturing environment.</li><li>Good understanding of AQL levels, garment construction, and inspection processes.</li><li>Ability to use measurement tools (measuring tape, GSM cutter, etc.).</li><li>Knowledge of different types of garments (woven, knit, casualwear, uniforms, etc.).</li><li>Strong attention to detail and high visual accuracy.</li><li>Basic reporting and record-keeping skills.</li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced production setup.</li></ul></div>#J-18808-Ljbffr
