QHSES Assurance Specialist (Mechanical Procurement)Job Overview: The QHSES Assurance Specialist applies their conceptual QHSES Assurance knowledge with moderate guidance and direction from colleagues and leadership. They are responsible for solving a range of straightforward QHSES Assurance problems. They will be responsible for analyzing possible solutions using standard procedures and building knowledge of the company, processes, and customers. The QHSES Assurance Specialist understands key business drivers and applies this knowledge to solve problems in straightforward situations by analyzing possible solutions using technical experience, judgment, and precedents.ResponsibilitiesPerform audits as per plan monthly and report timely results/reportsUpdate established procedures and assist in preparing new procedures on a timely basisAssist in developing statistical tools and analysis to monitor KPIs/QLs and other measurementsMaintain and publish agreed KPI, QI, and COQ of key functions of the fabrication yard and projects; management report on a monthly and quarterly basis in soft and hard copiesPrepare and review procedures and work instructionsCollaborate with internal stakeholders to review audit results and findings to ensure effective root cause analysis of processing problems or challengesFacilitate and lead project teams of specialists, process owners, or other staff to ensure completion of process improvement implementationUse analytical and logical approaches to troubleshoot deficiencies and resolve issues through problem-solving techniques, Lean tools and principles, coaching and communication with process owners, and corrective actionsDefine best practices and foster a culture of process discipline and standardizationCoach and mentor process owners to ensure understanding and use of trend analysis and data-driven decision-makingProvide process analysis, ensuring quality standards are met and proposing quality improvementsEnsure sustainability of process improvements and corrective actions through 30/60/90-day verification audits before final closureCollaborate with applicable functional leadership to monitor and measure/validate process outputs as neededAssist in maintaining New Management Systems by facilitating reviews and revising policies/proceduresPresent New Management System results to site/business leadership as neededRepresent the Quality department on special projects as assignedPerform quality assurance review of all management system documents within specified review cycles and governance proceduresExpedite documents through review cycles and publish upon final approvalCoordinate the repository for all documents transmitted by functional users for reviewEnsure QC system attributes for documents to ensure quality reportingPerform void, supersedes, and deletions of documents in the EDMSAdminister EDMS training to new team members and assign user rights after trainingParticipate in the design, implementation, and enforcement of company document templates for the development or revision of all documentsAdvise on best practices for document creation and organization within the EDMS management systemReport MS updates of activity bi-weekly and monthly to the company intranetFormat integration documents, circulate for approval, and integrate into management systemsQualificationsBachelor\'s degree in engineering preferred, or relevant field of study5+ years of relative industry experience related to EPC construction or fabricationExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsAttention to detailProficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) and related softwareAbility to synthesize complex information and design workflows and proceduresAbility to generate creative solutionsAbility to translate concepts into simplified written and visual training material; use stakeholder feedback to improve solutionsStrong communication skills at all levels and ability to explain complex technical situationsExperience handling variables with limited standardization; Lean/Continuous Improvement concepts familiarityISO Auditor training or experience with ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 or other QMSAbility to work as a team member and as a team leaderBroad experience with various Management Systems softwareDeliver positive key performance indicators monthly related to productivityAbout UsOur ingenuity fuels daily life.
