Fluency in English is a must.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist Senior QHSE management system analyst in setting up annual HSE objectives; monitor and provide needed support for realization of HSE objectivesReview and implement permit requirements for materials warehouse, ensure appropriate qualifications training for all work permit applicantsIncidents/Near miss/Unsafe acts/conditions reportingSafety alert/lesson learntActs as a focal point for department SMART objectives assists management, reviews, and sets achievable targets and gets department management approvalMaterials warehouse & office inspections for all locations i.e. Dukhan, Mesaieed & RLC etc Participations in operations site HSE inspections, reporting, tracking & follow-up for closuresPlanning and organizing department HSE toursDepartment Risk register preparations, review and updatesLegal Obligations Registers (LORs) preparations, review and updatesPreparations of department training matrix and periodic review for new requirementsSafety campaign i.e. heat stress management, chemical handling, hot work, height work, lifting operations etc), Life-Saving Rules (Poster/Banners)Chemical Handling, Storage & TransportationsInspection of chemical storage & handling facilities, implementing safe measures for chemical transportationImplement MSDS and safe work processes & procedures at the warehouse, COSHH trainingTransportation & Storage of construction materialsImplementing safe measures during lifting for storage & transportation of materialsImplementing an approved plan for all heavy liftsEnvironment Monitoring, Co-ordinate to conduct environment monitoring i.e. Noise, Co2 emission, illumination level etcWaste management, Waste storage, segregation (Haz/Non-Haz), & handling, Vendors/contractors coordination for waste management for disposal as per lawAssist Senior QHSE management system analyst in carrying out corrective actions against internal and external HSE audit findingsHSE Plan/Procedures/Method Statements preparing, review and implementSite HSE Audit, Organizing & conducting, preparations of reports, tracking and follow-up for closuresFire & Safety, Periodic inspection of firefighting system, Co-ordinations with TPI vendors for periodic inspection/testing/calibrationsReview and assess the HSE documents related to contractsRequirementsBachelor’s degree in engineering with a Diploma in Industrial Safety or equivalent from a recognized body & NEBOSH Certificate10-12 years of experience in in supply chain/warehouse/material handling including the Oil & Gas sectorExperience in planning, conducting, and reporting QHSE Audits and InspectionsSkills and expertise in the analysis and reporting of HSE data
