QAD MYP Counselor - Social Emotional (Ref 1586) Position: MYP CounselorLocation: Qatar Academy DohaStart Date: 01st Aug 2026 We are seeking a dedicated and innovative MYP Counselor to join our international school community. The successful candidate will inspire curiosity, critical thinking, and a passion for scientific inquiry while delivering engaging lessons aligned with the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) framework. Key Responsibilities Provide counseling services to our students to support their academic, social, and emotional development. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to create a positive and inclusive learning environment. Develop and implement programs that promote student well being and mental health. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in counseling practices. Qualifications & Requirements Education: Bachelor's degree (minimum 3 years) in Counseling, Psychology, Education, or a related field. Experience: Minimum 2 years of full time experience as a school counselor or in a similar role. Language: Bilingual (Arabic & English) - mandatory. Certification: Any relevant counseling certification or license is highly preferred. Familiarity with IB curriculum and international school environment is an advantage. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders. Empathy, cultural sensitivity, and problem solving abilities. Why Join Us?
