Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented QA/QC Manager to oversee and ensure the implementation of quality standards across MEP systems within large-scale construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background working with main contractors, with a proven track record in MEP construction for commercial, residential, and infrastructure projects. Key Responsibilities Develop, implement, and maintain the project-specific QA/QC plan in accordance with ISO standards and client requirements. Ensure all MEP installation works comply with contract specifications, international standards, and approved shop drawings. Lead the preparation, review, and approval process for Method Statements, ITPs (Inspection & Test Plans), and material submittals. Conduct internal and external audits, NCRs, and closeouts in a timely and effective manner. Monitor site activities to ensure quality standards are consistently met and non-conformities are addressed immediately. Coordinate and liaise with project stakeholders, consultants, subcontractors, and third-party inspectors. Supervise a team of QA/QC engineers and inspectors; allocate tasks and review performance. Maintain all QA/QC documentation, including test reports, inspection records, calibration logs, and quality dashboards. Provide regular quality reports to senior management and clients. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality culture and reduce rework. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field. Minimum 10 years of QA/QC experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial role in the main contracting sector. Extensive MEP experience across HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and electrical systems. In-depth knowledge of international codes and standards (ASHRAE, NFPA, IPC, BS, etc.). Certification in ISO 9001:2015 QMS is highly desirable. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Proficient in MS Office and QA/QC software tools.
