QA/QC Manager

OverviewInternational Contracting Business is seeking to appoint a Head of Quality for the Oil & Gas Division of the construction business.This company has a pedigree in large scale high profile projects across the GCC, Asia & Australasia. Managing anywhere from 1-3 projects within this sector with values ranging from 1.5 Billion AED upwards towards 3 Billion AED maximum. The client offers long term stability in Dubai or Abu Dhabi, with career development and progression as this role reports into the Global Head of Quality. There are plans for this role to develop into a Multi Sector Quality role with input into other sectors after 24-32 months.You will have Project Quality Managers or Inspectors reporting into you for various areas. You will be capable of managing a multi-national workforce of diverse cultures and abilities, and you will be able to manage effectively up and down the organisation, earning respect from team members and long-term clients. The company has an established presence in the region with regional offices and a good reputation in this sector. Typical projects could be on- or offshore related works with aspects such as electrical and instrumentation, infrastructure, upstream/downstream, pipelines.They require someone who has either a Mechanical Engineering or Civil Engineering Degree and exposure to corporate systems and quality procedures.You will be aged between 40-55 years of age and open to international travel on a weekly or monthly basis depending on workload. A Western university degree is preferred. 2-3 years international exposure and ability to work in Abu Dhabi with no NOC/Visa constraints.ResponsibilitiesLead and manage the Quality function for the Oil & Gas Division across multiple projects valued from 1.5 to 3 Billion AED.Direct Project Quality Managers and Inspectors, ensuring consistent application of quality procedures and corporate systems.Coordinate with cross-functional teams and senior leadership (reporting to the Global Head of Quality).Oversee a multi-national workforce and ensure effective communication across diverse teams.Contribute to development of a Multi Sector Quality role expanding into other business sectors after 24-32 months.Maintain strong client relationships and ensure long-term satisfaction while safeguarding project quality and compliance.Navigate offshore/onshore project environments including electrical, instrumentation, infrastructure, upstream/downstream, and pipelines.QualificationsMechanical Engineering or Civil Engineering Degree.Exposure to corporate quality systems and procedures.2-3 years international exposure.Willingness to travel internationally; able to work in Abu Dhabi with no NOC/Visa constraints.Age between 40-55 (as stated).Degree from a Western university preferred.About The CompanyAt NSR we pride ourselves on market knowledge, integrity, loyalty and professionalism.
