QA/QC Engineer - Civil

Location: Doha, QatarProject: Civil Construction WorksContract Type: 1-year (extendable)Working Hours: 10 hours/day, 6 days/weekBenefits: Food, transportation, accommodation, and PPE providedRole PurposeThe Planning Engineer is responsible for preparing, monitoring, and controlling project schedules to ensure timely completion of all civil works. The role requires coordination with site teams, management, and subcontractors to align execution with project requirements and deadlines.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain detailed project schedules using planning software (Primavera P6 / MS Project).Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly work progress and update schedules accordingly.Prepare baseline programs, look-ahead schedules, and recovery plans.Identify critical paths, analyze potential delays, and recommend corrective measures.Coordinate with site engineers, foremen, and subcontractors for smooth workflow.Generate reports and forecasts for management and client submission.Support project management in resource allocation, cost tracking, and risk mitigation.RequirementsBachelors degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent (preferred).Minimum 10 years of proven experience as a Planning Engineer in civil construction projects.Proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project.Strong knowledge of project scheduling techniques and construction processes.Fluency in English (spoken and written).Strong organizational and time management skills.Analytical thinker with attention to detail.Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.Effective communication and coordination abilities.Team-oriented and adaptable to dynamic project environments.#J-18808-Ljbffr
