QA Engineer

<div><p>We are looking for a QA Engineer who can own quality across modern web applications and cloud native backend services.</p><h3>What You'll Do</h3><ul><li>Design and execute test strategies for web apps (Next.js), APIs (Node.js/Python), and service integrations</li><li>Build and maintain scalable automated test suites (UI, API, integration, regression, and smoke tests)</li><li>Partner with developers and product teams to define acceptance criteria and shift quality left</li><li>Validate deployments across environments and support release readiness in CI/CD pipelines</li><li>Identify flaky tests, production risks, and root causes; drive preventive quality improvements</li><li>Track quality metrics (defect leakage, test coverage, escape rate, pass/fail trends) and provide actionable insights</li></ul><h3>Requirements</h3><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field</li><li>3+ years in QA/Software Testing, with strong automation experience.</li><li>Hands-on testing experience with JavaScript/TypeScript applications, especially Next.js and Node.js</li><li>Experience testing Python-based services and API-driven systems</li><li>Strong API testing skills (REST/trpc, authentication, contract validation, and edge case coverage)</li><li>Proficiency with modern testing tools (e.g., Playwright/Cypress, Jest/Vitest, Postman/Newman, or similar)</li><li>Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD workflows</li><li>Strong debugging skills using logs, traces, and test diagnostics</li><li>Solid understanding of SDLC, test design techniques, and risk-based testing</li><li>Practical security testing knowledge, including awareness of OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities and how to validate them in web/API workflows</li></ul><h3>Nice to Have</h3><ul><li>Experience with Kubernetes and GCP environments</li><li>Performance and reliability testing experience</li><li>Exposure to real-time or distributed service architectures</li><li>Experience with observability tools for debugging and quality monitoring</li></ul></div>#J-18808-Ljbffr
