Job Description As a Python(Primary) & Perl (Secondary) Developer at BlackRock, located in Gurugram or Mumbai, you will be responsible for modernizing legacy systems, working with stored procedures, and contributing to automation initiatives. Key responsibilities include: - Developing and maintaining backend services using Python. - Understanding and assisting in converting existing PERL scripts to Python. - Analyzing Sybase database structures and SQL pointers in both PERL and Python code. - Working with database concepts such as complex joins, filters, and programmatic controls. - Modifying and optimizing stored procedures as required. - Collaborating with the DB development team to support projects and automation efforts. - Utilizing tools like Ansible to automate tasks (preferred but not mandatory).
