Job Description Role Overview: As a Test Automation Engineer, you will play a crucial role in transforming testing into a continuous and efficient end-to-end quality engineering function. Your focus will be on utilizing quality processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance control accuracy and integrity, ultimately leading to the delivery of high-quality software products. You will be responsible for implementing quality processes, utilizing automation tools, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the effectiveness of testing approaches. Key Responsibilities: - Independently perform and become subject matter expert (SME) in the field - Actively participate and contribute in team discussions - Provide solutions to work-related problems - Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Python programming language - Execute automated test scripts and analyze test results - Identify and report software defects and issues - Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to understand software requirements - Participate in code reviews and offer feedback for improvements Qualifications Required: - Strong implementation knowledge of Python, OOPs, and Data structures - Proficient coding skills with emphasis on readability, structure, and uniformity - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities - Knowledgeable in robot framework, unit testing frameworks, selenium API automation, and building utilities - Good understanding of database design and relations - Familiarity with HTML, CSS, ReactJS, and frontend technologies - Proficiency in building web services and APIs using Django or FastAPI - Experience in code dockerization and deployment - Hands-on experience with scripting Additional Information: The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in Python programming language. The position is based at the Bengaluru office and requires a 15 years full-time education.
