Job Description As a Senior Backend Engineer for a company developing GenAI-driven manufacturing applications, your role will involve designing and developing scalable backend services. You will be responsible for the following key tasks: - Designing and building RESTful APIs and microservices using Python & FastAPI. - Developing and optimizing RAG pipelines, embeddings, and AI workflows. - Architecting and deploying cloud-native solutions on AWS (ECS, Lambda, RDS, etc.). - Integrating LLMs using LangChain, Hugging Face, OpenAI APIs. - Mentoring team members and enforcing best coding, testing, and delivery practices. - Collaborating across squads to ensure scalability, security, and reliability. To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications: - 6-15 years of backend experience with hands-on coding. - Strong proficiency in Python, FastAPI, REST APIs, microservices, SQL/NoSQL. - Experience with AWS cloud deployment and DevOps collaboration. - Solid understanding of LLMs, embeddings, vector databases (OpenSearch), and prompt engineering (RAG patterns).
