About the job Purchasing SupervisorJobTitle -Purchasing SupervisorAbout the RoleWe are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Purchasing Supervisor to oversee procurement operations within the industrial refrigeration and engineering sector. The role involves managing supplier relationships, ensuring cost-effective purchasing, maintaining inventory levels, and supporting project requirements through efficient procurement processes.Key ResponsibilitiesProcurement & Supplier Management: Manage the purchasing process for equipment, materials, and services required for projects and operations.Source reliable suppliers and negotiate pricing, delivery terms, and contracts.Maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure consistent supply and service quality.Evaluate supplier performance and identify opportunities for cost savings.Purchase Planning & Coordination: Review purchase requisitions and ensure timely processing of purchase orders.Coordinate with engineering, project, and operations teams to understand procurement requirements.Monitor delivery schedules and ensure materials arrive on time to avoid project delays.Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.Inventory & Cost Control: Monitor stock levels and coordinate with warehouse teams to maintain optimal inventory.Implement cost-control measures and identify opportunities for procurement optimization.Track material usage and prepare procurement forecasts.Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate purchasing records, contracts, and supplier documentation.Prepare procurement reports including purchase orders, vendor performance, and cost analysis.Ensure all procurement documentation complies with company and regulatory standards.Team Supervision & Process Improvement: Supervise procurement staff and ensure smooth day-to-day purchasing operations.Provide guidance and training to team members on procurement processes.Identify opportunities to improve procurement efficiency and workflows.Qualifications & ExperienceBachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.5–8 years of experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably within industrial refrigeration, engineering, or manufacturing sectors.Experience in supplier negotiation and contract management.Key Skills & CompetenciesStrong negotiation and vendor management skillsExcellent organizational and planning abilitiesKnowledge of procurement processes and supply chain managementStrong analytical and cost management skillsGood communication and coordination abilitiesAbility to manage multiple procurement activities simultaneouslyWhat We OfferCompetitive salary and benefits packageOpportunity to work on large-scale industrial and engineering projectsProfessional growth and career development opportunitiesCollaborative and dynamic working environmentApply now!#J-18808-Ljbffr
