Job Description

The role holder is responsible to perform all field activities related to operating different water reservoirs located in different parts of Qatar. The role holder is also responsible for implementing all strategies and plans for effective operations of water stations, in order to continually supply customers with potable water services.Core Responsibilities:Monitors the operations of water stations located in different parts of Qatar, in order to ensure effective operation of water stationsPerforms field activities and assists Supervisor–Water Reservoir and Pumping Station in implementing the formulated strategies pertaining to main pipelinesPerforms regular inspection of stand‑by generators inside water stations, and ensures effective transportation for conveyance of water between various reservoirsImplements all planned and scheduled shutdown of pumps and main pipelines, in order to ensure timely work completionImplements all planned activities related to operations of water stations, and assists Supervisor –Water Reservoirs and Pumping Stations, in implementing all formulated action plans to resume water supply to consumersIdentifies any unusual operations of all electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, chlorination and telecommunication and civil structure equipment in the assigned reservoirs and pumping stations, and highlights the same to Supervisor–Water Reservoir and Pumping StationPrepares all technical daily checklists related to water stations operations, as and when requiredCarries out additional work as required by supervisorWorks in cooperation with Quality Assurance and Continual Improvement section on securing and maintain the ISO / Risk Management / ISMS certificationCarries out and ensures the compliance of all activities within the Department are in‑line with Kahramaa health and safety regulationsSelf Management Responsibilites:Defines performance goals at the start of the year in discussion with the reporting manager and ensures that the goals are achieved during the course of the yearIdentifies the training and development requirements for self and agrees on them with the reporting manager to ensure that the required trainings are arranged and attendedKeeps abreast of professional developments, new techniques and current issues through continued education and professional growthQualifications:High School Certification with applicable technical certification
