Job DescriptionAs a Public Area Attendant, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and appearance of all public areas within a facility, such as lobbies, restrooms, and hallways.Job ResponsibilityClean and sanitize all public spaces including lobbies, restrooms, hallways, and elevatorsSweep, mop, vacuum, and/or shampoo carpets and rugsEmpty trash cans and replace linersEnsure all public areas are well-maintained and presentable at all timesNotify maintenance or management of any issues or repairs neededFollow all health and safety regulationsCandidate RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalentProven experience as a cleaner or janitor is a plusKnowledge of cleaning chemicals and suppliesAttention to detail and thoroughnessPhysical stamina to stand, bend, and lift for extended periodsExcellent communication skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamSkillsKnowledge of proper cleaning techniquesAttention to detailTime management skillsAbility to work independentlyGood physical staminaStrong communication skillsCustomer service skillsAbility to follow instructionsTeamwork skills
