Job Description

Position OverviewThe Division of Science at NYU Abu Dhabi invites applications for full‑time faculty positions in Psychology. We seek early‑career scholars for a tenure‑track assistant professor position and established scholars (Associate or Full Professor) who have a demonstrated record of excellence in research and leadership in the field.Areas of InterestWe encourage candidates working in any area of perception, cognition, and cognitive development as well as social psychology, including those adopting a developmental perspective.Research Focus and Interdisciplinary OpportunitiesCandidates whose research intersects with existing faculty domains of interest—such as vision, memory, language, political psychology, inequality, gender, early childhood development, attachment, and identity throughout the lifespan—will find a vibrant research and teaching environment that includes supportive colleagues, significant research resources, and broad interdisciplinary opportunities.Research FacilitiesSuccessful candidates will have access to a faculty research grant and state‑of‑the‑art facilities, including:Imaging center with a Siemens Prisma 3T MRI scanner, two MEG systems, and support for multimodal data acquisition (MEG/EEG, eye‑tracking, fMRI, EEG).High‑performance computing with 6,400 cores.Behavioral testing facilities with standalone EEGs, eye‑tracking, virtual reality, physiological measures, robotics, and social‑psychology experimental rooms.Child Observation Lab equipped with video/audio recording, observation window, and control room.Qualifications• Ph.D. in Psychology or a related field.• Strong potential for developing an independent research program and a record of high‑quality scholarship across multiple areas of psychology.• Ability to conduct and develop high‑quality research across multiple areas of psychology.Commitment to Diversity and InclusionNYU Abu Dhabi is committed to upholding a culture of non‑discrimination, anti‑harassment, dignity, and mutual respect; providing equal access and opportunity; and fostering academic excellence in learning, research, and teaching.#J-18808-Ljbffr
