As a Consultant you will play a pivotal role in Overseeing the psychiatric department and providing expert consultation and guidance on mental health diagnoses and treatments, Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic and personalized care for patients with mental health conditions. And play a vital role in advancing mental health services and research initiative.MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESProvides high-quality psychiatry care to patients in this area of medicine.Provide consultative service as requested.Supervise fellows, staff/assistant physicians, and residents.Actively participates in the training and teaching of residents and fellows in his area of expertise and Participates in research activities.Participates in committees and other administrative functions as needed.Performs special procedures as privileged.Follows all hospital-related policies and procedures.Performs other related duties as assigned.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSEducationGraduate from a medical school of good standing.Completion of required period of training in psychiatry.AmericanBoard/ FRCS Irish, UK, Canadian, New Zealand or Australian/ Diplome dEtudes Specialises (DES)/CIS French Board / Facharzt & Sub- Board/ Fellowship with Min. 3-4 years experience post Board/ Fellowship/ Facharzt (German Board)/ Austria Facharzt/ Swedish boardMembership and/or Fellowship status in America and/or Europe or their equivalent and fulfilling the criteria for the consultant as requiredA certificate recognized by the Saudi commission is a must.Dataflow is a must.Professional ExperienceMin. 3-4 years Post Board/Fellowship in general psychiatry.A registered member of the Saudi Board CouncilLanguageProficiency in English; additional proficiency in Arabic may be beneficial.ReferencesPositive professional references attesting to the candidate's skills and ethical conduct.#J-18808-Ljbffr
