Detailed measurements confirmed that the machine sheave grooves in all three lifts have worn beyond manufacturer-recommended tolerance limits. This excessive wear poses significant risks, including reduced traction, rope slippage, and accelerated deterioration of the hoist ropes, directly impacting operational safety and reliability.Additionally, the Emergency Landing Device (ELD) in all units was found to be non-functional. As the ELD is a mandatory safety component under current regulatory requirements, its failure represents a serious compliance and safety concern.The elevators, installed in 2006, have reached an advanced stage of their service life. Observations indicate normal wear and tear compounded by prolonged operation, mechanical degradation of critical components, and obsolescence of the existing ELD system (including discontinued parts). While the lifts were kept under controlled observation and deemed temporarily operational, the condition has been formally documented and escalated for immediate corrective action and long-term modernization planning.To restore safe operation and ensure compliance with current standards, immediate replacement of worn components and system upgrades is required, along with a comprehensive modernization assessment to enhance performance, safety, and reliability.1. Replacement of Machine SheavesSupply and installation of new traction machine sheaves for all three elevator units (N7NE1584, N7NE1585, N7NE1586).Removal and safe disposal of existing worn sheaves.Alignment, calibration, and testing to ensure proper traction and smooth operation.Verification of groove profile compliance with manufacturer specifications.2. Replacement of Main Hoist RopesSupply and installation of new main hoist ropes for all three elevators.Dismantling and removal of existing ropes showing signs of aging and wear.Proper tensioning, equalization, and fastening of new ropes.Load testing and operational checks to ensure safe performance.3.
