Job Description

The Projects Coordinator supports the planning, execution, and delivery of banking software implementation projects. This role assists in managing timelines, resources, budgets, and communication among stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered successfully, within scope, on time, and within budget. The position plays a critical role in maintaining project documentation traceability, supporting operations oversight, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and PMO governance standards.ResponsibilitiesAssist Project Managers in developing comprehensive project plans, schedules, timelines, and documentation for banking software deploymentsCoordinate internal resources and cross-functional teams (development, QA, support engineers, team leads) for project executionMonitor and track project progress and performance using appropriate project management tools and methodologiesMaintain comprehensive and traceable project documentation covering all implementation phases: application, database, configuration, and infrastructure elementsEnsure compliance with PMO standards, ProgressSoft governance policies, and regulatory requirementsSchedule and facilitate project meetings, document minutes, action items, and follow-ups with clear ownership and deadlinesFacilitate effective communication between project team members, client banks, and internal stakeholdersSupport change management and release management processes, including UAT coordination and environment readiness verificationSupport project closure processes, ensuring proper handoff documentation and lessons learned captureSupport the Operations Manager in daily oversight of operations, back-office processes, and post-deployment support activitiesPrepare detailed reports and presentations for stakeholders, client banks, and senior management related to operations and project statusConduct periodic reviews of operational procedures, SLA compliance, and adherence to implementation standardsAssist in coordinating support activities across dedicated client support groups and tracking issue resolutionSupport contract execution tracking and ensure operational deliverables align with client engagement strategiesSupport PMO initiatives related to process standardization, governance enhancement, and best practice adoption across projectsContribute to lessons learned sessions and assist in implementing corrective or preventive actionsAssist in maintaining PMO templates, tools, and centralized repositories for project documentation and reportingParticipate in audits, health checks, and internal quality reviews to ensure compliance readinessRequirementsBachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field2-4 years of experience in project coordination, project management, or a junior project management role, preferably in software implementation or banking/financial services sectorsFamiliarity with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid) and PMI standardsProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Zoho Projects, JIRA, or similar)Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and deployment processesFamiliarity with banking domain concepts, payment systems, and financial software solutions is highly advantageousBasic understanding of API integration, system configurations, and enterprise software environmentsStrong organizational, multitasking, and time management skills with ability to manage multiple concurrent projectsExcellent verbal and written communication skills in Arabic and EnglishStrong attention to detail with focus on documentation accuracy and traceabilityEffective problem-solving and analytical thinking abilitiesAbility to work independently and collaboratively as part of cross-functional teamsStrong stakeholder engagement and client relationship management skillsProactive approach to identifying process improvements and operational efficienciesPreferred QualificationsPMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent project management certificationPRINCE2, Agile, or Scrum certificationPrevious experience working with banking clients or financial institutionsExperience with change and release management processes in enterprise environmentsExposure to regulatory compliance requirements in banking or financial servicesFamiliarity with ProgressSoft products and solutions (such as Instant Payment, Payment Hub, Check Clearing, Automated Clearing House, Mobile Payment, Mandate Management)Experience coordinating UAT cycles and supporting production deployments#J-18808-Ljbffr
