Projects Control Engineer / Coordinator

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and disciplined ERP & Projects Control Engineer / Coordinator to manage and maintain the organization’s ERP system while supporting day-to-day project operations.This role works closely with the senior management and cross-functional teams to ensure accurate, real-time capture and reporting of project data, costs, and progress. The ideal candidate is proactive, hands-on, and comfortable coordinating across Projects, Procurement, Accounts, HR, and Site Teams.Key Responsibilities1. ERP System Management & Data IntegrityEnsure accurate and timely entry of project, procurement, HR and financial data into the ERP systemEnforce system discipline and minimize off-system/manual trackingFollow up with departments to maintain data completeness and accuracy2. Project Setup & Execution TrackingUpload and maintain project records including BOQs, budgets and schedulesUpdate daily project progress, manpower allocation and resource utilization3. Cost Control & Expense TrackingCoordinate with Accounts to ensure proper cost allocation and codingTrack project budgets and expenditures against approved costsEnsure correct use of cost codes across all transactions4. Project Monitoring & ReportingMonitor planned vs. actual progress across projectsIdentify delays, risks, and resource gaps and elevate to managementSupport decision-making through accurate data tracking5. Procurement & Material CoordinationTrack material requests, purchase orders, deliveries, and consumptionCoordinate with Procurement and Site Teams to avoid delays or shortages6. Master Data ManagementMaintain accurate and structured records of materials, vendors, employees, and projectsPrevent duplication and ensure data consistency across the ERP system7. Cross-Functional CoordinationCollaborate with Projects, Procurement, Accounts, HR, and Site TeamsFacilitate coordination meetings and ensure alignment across departments8. Meeting Coordination & Follow-UpsPrepare and record Minutes of Meetings (MOM)Track action items and ensure timely closurePrepare and maintain:Daily reports (progress, manpower, materials)Weekly reports (project and procurement status)Monthly reports (cost analysis and budget vs. actuals)10. Document Control & Record ManagementMaintain organized records of drawings, approvals, and project documentationEnsure proper version control and document accessibility11. User Support & ERP AdoptionProvide support and guidance to team members on ERP usageDrive system adoption and improve user complianceIdentify workflow gaps and recommend process improvementsSupport digital transformation and system enhancement initiativesRequirementsEducation & ExperienceDegree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field2–5 years of experience in construction, project coordination or ERP systemsTechnical SkillsFamiliarity with project planning tools such as MS Project, Primavera, or similarWorking knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., Zoho, Odoo, ERPNext, or equivalent)Strong proficiency in Microsoft ExcelBasic understanding of BOQs, project costing and construction/site operationsSoft SkillsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsExcellent coordination and follow-up abilitiesAbility to work closely with senior management and cross-functional teamsHigh level of discipline, accountability, and attention to detail#J-18808-Ljbffr
