Project Procurement Manager (Onshore Project)About the job Project Procurement Manager (Onshore Project)Job SummaryThe Procurement Manager will be responsible for managing the end-to-end procurement lifecycle for major onshore oil and gas projects. This includes developing procurement strategies, sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of equipment, materials, and services in compliance with project specifications and client requirements. The role requires strong leadership, market knowledge, and coordination across engineering, construction, and commercial teamsKey ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement comprehensive procurement plans aligned with project schedules and budgetsManage the full procurement lifecycle including tendering, bid evaluation, negotiations, contract awards, and post-award administrationEnsure procurement activities are compliant with company policies, contractual obligations, and client-specific requirements (e.g., ADNOC standards)Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, and manufacturers globallyCoordinate closely with engineering, construction, planning, and logistics teams to ensure procurement supports overall project executionLead and mentor a team of procurement professionals, ensuring workload distribution and performance managementMonitor market trends and pricing to optimize procurement decisions and mitigate riskEnsure timely delivery of critical equipment and materials in accordance with the path of constructionSupport vendor prequalification, expediting, and inspection processesManage claims, variations, and dispute resolution with suppliers and vendorsProvide regular reports to senior management on procurement progress, risks, and KPIsMaintain robust documentation and records to support audit and project close-out requirementsRequired Skills and QualificationsBachelors Degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (Masters preferred)15+ years of procurement experience in the oil & gas sector, with at least 5 years in a managerial capacity on onshore projectsStrong understanding of project procurement processes, contract law, international supply chains, INCOTERMS, and logisticsProficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) and procurement toolsExcellent negotiation, commercial, and vendor management skillsKnowledge of HSE, quality standards, and local/international regulations related to procurementCandidates with ADNOC projects experience will be given preference#J-18808-Ljbffr
