This role sits within the project leadership team and focuses on planning, coordination, and resource management rather than direct project management.The successful candidate will come from a construction consultancy, PMC, or major programme support background and will have experience helping leadership teams structure, mobilize, and manage multi‑discipline resources across complex delivery environments.This is a critical role that ensures the project is appropriately resourced, operationally organized, and running smoothly—working closely with the Project Director, Package Leads, and functional teams (HR, recruitment, commercial/contracts, and project controls) to coordinate staffing, planning, and team allocation across the programme.Resource Planning & MobilizationSupport the Project Directors and senior leadership team in developing and maintaining the project resourcing plan aligned to programme phases, milestones, and package priorities.Maintain oversight of staffing requirements, ensuring the project team structure (core team and package teams) remains fit‑for‑purpose as scope and sequencing evolve.Coordinate mobilization plans for new phases, including onboarding timelines, role start dates, and specialist surge requirements.Identify resourcing risks (gaps, overlaps, delayed starts, constrained approvals) and elevate early with practical mitigation options.Project Coordination & Operational PlanningSupport day‑to‑day operational planning across workstreams and packages, ensuring coordination between leadership actions, programme demands, and workforce availability.Track project roles, assignments, reporting lines, and team allocations across disciplines and subcontracted support where applicable.Maintain coordination workflows to support consistent team communication, meeting cadences, decision logs, and reporting rhythms.Workforce Tracking, Utilization & Capacity SupportMaintain resource trackers, staffing schedules, mobilization/demobilization plans, and team capacity summaries, ensuring accurate and up‑to‑date reporting for leadership.Monitor workload distribution across disciplines and packages and support leadership with capacity planning and team optimization.Support alignment between recruitment activity, internal transfers, and actual programme need, reducing idle time and avoiding under‑resourcing during critical periods.Stakeholder Coordination (Internal)Coordinate with HR, recruitment, and functional leadership to progress hiring requests, internal nominations, approvals, and onboarding.Liaise with discipline leads (design management, construction management, commercial, HSE, QA/QC, project controls) to confirm short‑term and medium‑term resourcing needs.Support the leadership team with staffing updates, organisational charts, role clarity, and changes to project team structure.Reporting & Leadership SupportPrepare resource dashboards, weekly/monthly staffing updates, and operational planning summaries for senior stakeholders.Support preparation of leadership materials (org charts, role matrices, onboarding plans, staffing justifications) for client, internal governance, and programm
