Project Manager

ResponsibilitiesServe as lead and conduit between IT and operational functions to drive deployments and integration of technology solutionsDevelop overall project timelines and key milestones; ensure teams meet critical dates leveraging Project Management softwareManage all phases of projects: initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, closurePartner with teams cross functionally to promote seamless integration of new technologies within a mixed computing environmentCoordinate delivery of development (beta) and production releases that meet quality assurance standardsAssist team through regressions testing and lead effort to identify potential impacts and bugs, including risk management and mitigation effortsFacilitate decision‑making, arbitrate impasses, remove barriers and ultimately drive projects to completionClosely monitor implementations, track deployment issues and formulate fallback strategiesRecognize and address shifts in project complexity, scope and risksEnsure project risks are managed and communicate risks and implications to management as appropriateAnalyze feasibility and cost of technology deployments to lead the team to go/no‑go decisionsWork with team to identify and execute cost savings opportunitiesQualificationBS in Computers Science or RelatedExperience10 years experience in similar positionSkill SetExperience leading projects in application development, systems integration and infrastructure implementationsStrong understanding of project governance, software development and testing life cyclesFirm understanding and knowledge of IT infrastructure, protocols and vendor managementAbility to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including upper management and other functional departmentsAbility to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast‑paced, dynamic working environmentProven experience in helping project teams move from ambiguity to clarity and leading in a highly dynamic business environmentAbility to drive and meet deadlinesExcellent communication, collaboration and presentation skills, including understanding of the audienceOutstanding technical skills: background and strong interest in process development, MS Project, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, web and other required computer applications#J-18808-Ljbffr
