Job Description

Project Manager - IP/DWDM/ICT NetworksRole Purpose: To plan, execute, and deliver complex network infrastructure projects - including IP/MPLS, DWDM/OTN, and ICT systems - within scope, budget, and schedule, ensuring full alignment with business objectives, quality standards, and security requirements.Key Responsibilities1. Project Planning & Execution – Lead end‑to‑end project delivery for IP core, transport (DWDM/OTN), and ICT network deployments. Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and detailed implementation plans. Manage timelines, dependencies, risks, and resource allocation. Coordinate with engineering, operations, and vendor teams for seamless execution.2. Technical Coordination – Oversee design, installation, and integration of IP, DWDM/OTN, and ICT systems. Review network architecture, capacity, and performance requirements. Ensure proper acceptance testing (FAT, SAT, PAT) and documentation handover.3. Vendor & Stakeholder Management – Manage relationships with equipment suppliers, system integrators, and service providers. Facilitate technical and commercial alignment across multi‑vendor environments. Conduct project progress meetings and report status to senior management.4. Budget & Compliance – Prepare and control project budgets, cost estimates, and financial forecasts. Ensure compliance with corporate governance, HSE, cybersecurity, and regulatory requirements. Manage procurement, BoQs, and contract deliverables (SLAs, KPIs).5. Risk & Quality Management – Identify risks and develop mitigation and contingency plans. Maintain quality control through all project phases. Conduct lessons‑learned reviews to improve project delivery maturity.Qualifications & ExperienceEducation – Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical/Electronics, Computer Engineering, or related field. Master's degree or PMP/PRINCE2 certification is a strong plus.Experience – 8–15 years of experience in telecom/ICT infrastructure project management. Proven experience delivering IP/MPLS, DWDM/OTN, Fiber Transport, and ICT (Data Center, Cloud, or Cybersecurity) projects.Technical Expertise – Hands‑on knowledge of IP/MPLS routing & switching, DWDM/OTN transmission systems, Network management systems (NMS/EMS), LAN/WAN & cybersecurity, Data center / virtualization platforms.Certifications (Preferred) – PMP / PRINCE2; CCNP / JNCIP / Nokia IP Certification; DWDM/Optical transport vendor certifications.Key Skills – Strong understanding of IP, optical transport, and ICT technologies; excellent stakeholder management and vendor coordination; strong analytical & troubleshooting skills; budgeting, cost control, and contract management; familiarity with enterprise project tools (MS Project, Primavera, Jira); effective communication & leadership; fluency in English (Arabic is an advantage).Performance Indicators (KPIs)On‑time project delivery (Schedule Adherence %)Budget compliance (Cost Variance %)Network uptime & service KPIs post-handoverQuality & safety compliance scoresStakeholder satisfaction#J-18808-Ljbffr
