Seeking a professional will have a proven track record in delivering large-scale renewable energy projects, particularly in the Middle East.Project Manager for 1800 MW Solar PV Project in UAEGOPA Tech is searching for a Project Manager to lead the execution of a landmark 1800 MW Solar PV Project in the UAE, financed by international stakeholders.ResponsibilitiesProject Planning & Design – preparing and overseeing comprehensive project plans, defining scope, objectives, deliverables, resources, and timelines to ensure successful execution.Team Leadership & Coordination – leading and motivating cross‑functional teams, fostering collaboration among engineers, contractors, consultants, and stakeholders to achieve project goals.Budget & Cost Management – managing project budgets, monitoring expenditures, and implementing robust cost‑control measures to ensure efficiency and accountability.Regulatory Compliance – ensuring compliance with UAE and international regulations, including timely acquisition of permits and approvals.Quality Assurance (QA/QC) – upholding the highest quality standards throughout all project phases, implementing continuous improvement initiatives.Risk Management – proactively identifying project risks and developing effective mitigation strategies.Stakeholder Engagement – establishing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, government bodies, contractors, and suppliers.QHSE Leadership – promoting a culture of quality, health, safety & environment excellence and ensuring adherence to all relevant standards.QualificationsAccredited University Graduate Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.Minimum 15 years of professional experience in the photovoltaic (PV) sector, with a strong background in utility‑scale solar projects.At least 5 years of proven experience as a Project Manager, preferably within consulting organizations.Prior project experience in the Middle East is highly preferred.PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent; solar‑specific certifications are an advantage.Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage diverse teams and complex stakeholders.In‑depth knowledge of QHSE standards and best practices.Experience with internationally financed projects.Full professional proficiency in oral and written English.#J-18808-Ljbffr
