Job Description

Experience in managing large scale industrial and commercial projects with value of up to $400 million in downstream oil and gas facilities Engineering, Procurement and Construction.Experience of working in ARAMCO/ MARAFIQ or equivalent companies.Execution capabilities in Oil, gas and Petrochemicals, EPC companies and O&M companies with works in infrastructure and power stations., in the field of O&M, Engineering and constructionStrategic manager with strong interpersonal, communication, problem solving and decision making skills.Ability to establish and maintain strong alliances; lead and motivate teams; drive projects to successful completion.Convey complex technical requirements/dataMeeting customer expectations and achieve fiscal bottom-line results.AREAS OF EXPERTISEPROJECT MANAGEMENTShould have managed EPC projects in excess of $100 million for major oil, gas and petrochemicals clients, from Detail Engineering and through procurement and construction phases till successful commissioning, start-up and warranty management.Responsible for all project activities including liaison with both internal and external clients, contract and project administration, cash flow management and planning and scheduling project crews and activities.Controlling Project budget and individual project budgets across all program projects.Implementing and maintaining weekly Project manager meeting with function managersFocused on identifying and resolving technical and budget issues and monitor project progress.Single point of contact for all Project related communications with internal/external stake‑holders.Developing clear and concise weekly/monthly Project management reports detailing Project across schedule, budget, technical issues Project Changes.Managing and tracking the Project Change.Developing and maintaining the program risk registry.Ensuring timely submission of Progress Reports to Client / CompanyPreparation and submission of Monthly Project Valuations to Client / Consultant, coordinating with Client including all relevant discussions for approval of invoiceEnsuring Non-Conformances if any are closed and taking timely preventive and corrective actionsDevelop, maintain and foster effective relationships with clients, providing update on projects and resolving any issues/concerns promptly to ensure their satisfactionResponsible for completing of all Punch Items and Project Close Out, Handover Documentation and finalization of all outstanding issues at HandoverEngineering ManagementManage Engineering crews working on oil, gas and power plants projects, ensuring high level of workmanship and effective utilization of engineers, materials and software with good command on Team management, Systems engineering, Multi-disciplines engineering integration, Staff management, Staff motivation, Engineering procedures.Ensure smooth operations by generating work schedules for all engineering disciplinesComplete with timelines, budgets and top oil and gas client’s specification guidelines.Select, interview and recruit new crews and orient them on company’s policies and quality control standards related to all type of industrial and commercial installationsCoaching and developing staff members on an individual basis. Can communicate at all levels.Conduct on-site meetings to discuss project progress with crews and troubleshoot and resolve any issues/problems impeding smooth workflow or project milestones.Manage Engineering Sub-contractor to ensure project requirement are met in time.Manage Engineering input integration with Procurement, quality and construction activities and provide the required support on spot.Able to manage multiple engineering sub-contractors achieving required integration and completeness for project objectives and scopes.Packaged Equipment Engineering Principal EngineerPlanning and estimate manpower for mechanical engineering work in project.Generate equipment grouping and prepares requisition list and Review/ approve packages from Assigned, Lead Engineers.Reviews and approves project related packages to ensure quality of product.Prepare project oriented QCP and apply it to Job execution plan, Contributes to the establishing of the project procurement plan and Construction site management and support.Provides solution and technical support team and project and Prepares engineering development proposals and feasibility studies.Controls and records changing scope of work.Train new Engineers on proper mechanical Engineering practice, techniques and processesMaintain a high degree of morale and efficiency by providing ongoing support and motivation to crew members.Continuously support the site activities and monitor the construction work related to the rotating and packaged equipment till the commissioning stage#J-18808-Ljbffr
