Project Manager – Engineering Consultancy (Infrastructure & Buildings)Location: Qatar (GCC Experience Required)Employment Type: 3 Years contractJob SummaryThe Project Manager will lead and manage multidisciplinary engineering consultancy services for infrastructure and building projects. The role involves overseeing design development and updates, technical studies, BIM coordination, authority approvals, and ensuring project delivery within schedule, budget, and quality standards. The Project Manager will act as the primary interface with the Client and ensure compliance with contractual and technical requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage a multidisciplinary engineering consultancy team.Act as the primary point of contact with the Client (Authorities / Development Teams).Manage call‑off orders, project planning, and resource allocation.Oversee technical studies, surveys, and design modifications.Ensure compliance with project scope, specifications, and contractual obligations.Monitor project progress, budgets, timelines, and deliverables.Coordinate BIM deliverables and interdisciplinary design integration.Manage authority submissions, approvals, and statutory coordination.Review and approve technical reports, calculations, shop drawings, schematics, and load demand estimates.Prepare and present progress and status reports to the Client.Develop and manage risk registers and mitigation plans.Ensure adherence to QHSE and Quality Management Systems.Support variation management and change control processes.Qualifications & EducationBachelors Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related Engineering discipline.Masters Degree in Project Management or Engineering (preferred).Experience Requirements12–15 years of total professional experience.Minimum 7 years in a Project Management role.Proven experience in large-scale infrastructure and building projects.Strong background in:Roads and earthworksWet utilities and mechanical systemsElectrical building servicesArchitectural and structural worksICT worksExperience in managing projects valued between QAR 5 Million to QAR 400 Million.GCC experience required (Qatar experience preferred).Technical CompetenciesStrong expertise in:Design management and technical reviewsStudies, surveys, and design updatesBIM coordination (LOD, clash detection, coordination workflows)CAD deliverables and documentation standardsAuthority submissions and statutory processesFamiliarity with:FIDIC or similar consultancy contractsQuality control proceduresRisk management and mitigation planningProfessional Certifications (Preferred)PMP (Project Management Professional)MMUP/UPDA Grade AChartered Engineer (CEng) or equivalentISO 9001 Quality Management awarenessSoft SkillsStrong leadership and decision‑making abilityExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsStrong negotiation and conflict resolution skillsAbility to manage multiple concurrent projectsHigh level of organization and documentation controlStrong analytical and problem‑solving capabilitiesAdditional RequirementsFluent in English (Arabic is an advantage).Proficient in MS Office, MS Project and/or Primavera.Experience working in BIM environments (Revit/Navisworks preferred).Valid Qatari Driving License (preferred).#J-18808-Ljbffr
