Project manager – electrical

Develop project execution plans, schedules, budgets, and resource requirements.Manage end-to-end execution of substation projects (EHV/HV substations, 220 k V & above).Ensure compliance with Oil & Gas facility regulations, HSE requirements, and quality standards.Proficiency in Primavera P6 / MS Project for project scheduling.Leadership & CoordinationLead multidisciplinary project teams including engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, and vendors.Liaise with client representatives, consultants, and internal stakeholders for approvals and progress updates.Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of substation equipment (GIS/AIS, transformers, protection & control systems, switchgear, SCADA, etc.).Technical & Contractual ManagementReview and validate electrical designs, drawings, and technical specifications.Ensure compliance with IEC, IEEE, ANSI, and Oil & Gas industry standards.Administer contract terms, manage claims, variations, and resolve disputes with stakeholders.Monitor project costs, cash flow, invoicing, and profitability.Coordinate procurement of long-lead items and critical equipment.HSE & Quality AssuranceImplement stringent HSE management systems in compliance with Oil & Gas safety standards.Ensure QA/QC procedures are followed at all stages of project execution.Conduct risk assessments, safety audits, and quality inspections.Reporting & DocumentationPrepare project progress reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior management and clients.Maintain proper documentation of engineering, construction, and commissioning records.Ensure project close-out, handover, and warranty obligations are fulfilled.
