Project Manager Design (Buildings)

Serving clients across five continents and the Pacific region GHD people share a passion for exceeding the expectations of our clients and contributing to their success.GHD is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Manager Design Management to join our Abu Dhabi team leading the design delivery of complex projects within the Buildings & Property sector.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage the design process across building and property projects ensuring alignment with client expectations and regulatory standards.Coordinate multidisciplinary design teams and external consultants to deliver high-quality timely outputs.Oversee design reviews approvals and compliance with local authority requirements (e.g. ADM ADWEA).Manage project schedules budgets risks and change control processes.Facilitate stakeholder engagement including clients contractors and government entities.Support pre-contract and post-contract phases including technical evaluations and tender documentation.Qualifications & ExperienceBachelors or Masters degree in Architecture Civil Engineering or a related discipline.Minimum 10 years of experience in design management for buildings and property developments preferably in the UAE or GCC region.Proven track record in managing design for high-rise mixed-use commercial or institutional buildings.Strong understanding of local authority processes and permitting requirements.PMP certification or equivalent is preferred.Excellent leadership communication and coordination skills.Take on some of the worlds toughest challenges- with everyone at GHD backing you every step of the way.At GHD we celebrate the power of a multicultural workforce and champion individual achievement.
