Project Manager - Cybersecurity

Technical/Core Skills RequiredIT Security, WAF, CDNJob DescriptionKey ResponsibilitiesProject Planning and Execution: Develop comprehensive project plans for the initiative, including scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with the agreed goals.Risk Management: Identify, assess, report on and proactively manage risks associated with the project.Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with multiple teams within IT to ensure successful project delivery. Communicate project updates, risks, and issues to executive stakeholders.Vendor and Tool Management: Participate in the evaluation and selection of the product from vendors. Manage the implementation efforts with the vendor team with strict governance and controls to ensure timely delivery.Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed project documentation, including plans, risk assessments, test results, and final reports. Produce metrics and dashboards to measure project success and security posture improvements.Qualifications and ExperienceEducation: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field. A master's degree or equivalent experience is preferred.Experience: Minimum 5-8 years of experience in IT project management, with at least 3 years focused on cybersecurity or information risk management.Certifications: PMP or PRINCE2Technical Skills: Understanding of network and application security, cloud environments (primarily AWS), WAF, CDN and Bot Management.Soft Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
